		<description><![CDATA[Handwriting recognition is very important these days, both for possible input in large touch screen devices, and for reading/auditing records in a variety of industries.  Of course, nothing is perfect, so any single human or software is bound to make mistakes.  Thus, as awesome as Google Books is, Project Gutenberg will never be obsolete.  The Smithsonian should partner with both these organizations (or similar ones), as they&#039;ve had effective programs for working on these very same goals for many years now.]]></description>
