Of course, nothing is perfect, so any single human or software is bound to make mistakes. Thus, as awesome as Google Books is, Project Gutenberg will never be obsolete. The Smithsonian should partner with both these organizations (or similar ones), as they’ve had effective programs for working on these very same goals for many years now.
